Parietal cells (also know as Oxyntic or Delomorphous cells) are part of the gastrict glands, found in the region of the popergastric glands (wich has different distribution in each species).
These parietal cells when stimulated are responsible for synthesizing the hydrochoric acid (Hcl), which finally reaches the gastric cavity, through the pit of the parietal gland.
